The Hikvision iDS-7104HQHI-M1/S combines four analogue camera inputs with AcuSense deep-learning functions that help distinguish people and vehicles from less relevant movement. It is well suited to smaller home, retail and business CCTV systems where smarter event filtering is useful.

Support for HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, CVBS and IP video makes it practical for upgrading an existing coaxial installation while retaining the option to add compatible network cameras. H.265 Pro+ compression helps make more efficient use of hard-drive storage.

• The recorder has 4 physical analogue BNC camera inputs.
• Standard operation provides 1 additional IP camera channel. Enhanced IP mode increases this to 2 IP channels, allowing up to 6 total video channels, with IP camera resolution up to 6 MP.
• Enhanced IP mode can affect the availability of certain smart-event functions, so system requirements should be checked when maximum IP expansion and AcuSense functions are both important.
• Motion Detection 2.0 and perimeter protection cannot be enabled at the same time; choose the smart-event mode that best suits the installation.
• One internal SATA interface supports a hard drive up to 10 TB. A compatible surveillance hard drive is required for local recording and is sold separately.
• An Ethernet connection is required for Hik-Connect and other network functions. Wi-Fi is not built in, although a compatible USB Wi-Fi dongle can be used.
• The recorder operates from 12 V DC, 1.5 A.
