The Hikvision iDS-7108HQHI-M1/S is a compact 8-channel Turbo HD DVR designed for CCTV systems using coax-based analogue cameras while adding intelligent human and vehicle filtering, network connectivity and support for compatible IP cameras.

It is particularly useful when upgrading an existing analogue installation because it supports HDTVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS cameras, while H.265 Pro+ compression and a single SATA storage interface help keep recording storage requirements manageable.

Before You Buy

• The recorder provides 8 BNC analogue video inputs. It also supports IP cameras up to 6 MP; the maximum IP channel count depends on the operating mode and intended analogue/IP channel mix.
• Enhanced IP mode supports up to 12 IP channels. Do not interpret this as 8 analogue channels plus 12 additional IP cameras simultaneously.
• Local recording requires a compatible SATA surveillance hard drive. One SATA interface is provided with support for up to 10 TB.
• The recorder does not provide PoE camera ports. IP cameras need suitable network connectivity and their own power source or separate PoE equipment.
• The recorder requires 12 V DC, 1.33 A power and consumes up to 12 W without a hard drive.
• HDMI and VGA outputs are provided for connection to a local monitor.
