Zartek ZA-PT2 Compact PTT/PoC Radio for Mobile Teams and Wide-Area Communication

The Zartek ZA-PT2 uses PTT over Cellular technology to give teams push-to-talk communication through mobile data or Wi-Fi rather than relying on the short local range of a conventional handheld radio.

It combines 4G/LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS positioning, group and individual calls, SOS functionality and a compact 1.77-inch colour display, making it suited to mobile teams that need to communicate between different sites and locations.

The ZA-PT2 is designed for applications such as security, transport, logistics, construction and mining where users may be spread across a much wider area than conventional radio-to-radio communication can cover.

How It Works

The ZA-PT2 connects to the ZartekPTT server platform using a data SIM over the cellular network or through Wi-Fi. Calls are routed through the platform, allowing radios to be configured for group communication or individual calls.

Optional dispatcher software can contact individual radios or groups and provides GPS map positioning, historical route tracking and audio recordings. The dispatcher map shows radio location and movement history; it is not a cellular coverage map.

Before You Buy

• Each ZA-PT2 must be activated on the ZartekPTT platform before platform communication can be used.
• ZartekPTT activation is purchased separately as a once-off fee for the lifetime of the radio.
• For cellular operation, the radio uses a data SIM and requires an active mobile-data connection. Communication coverage depends on the available mobile network.
• Wi-Fi can also be used where a suitable network connection is available.
• The optional Zartek dispatcher software is a separately purchased service.
• The SOS function requires an online dispatcher to receive and monitor the alert
