Ajax Hybrid Hubs (Fibra)

(Supports Wired and Wireless Devices)

Not available for DIY market (requires an approved Ajax installer)

Ajax Fibra Hub

Ajax Hub Hybrid is a game-changer among professional security systems. It is the first Ajax control panel that supports Jeweller devices and the all-new Fibra product line. Wired and wireless technologies are combined to build complex protection regardless of facility size, steel or concrete obstructions. Security is enhanced by informative notifications, photo verification of alarms, real-time system control in the app, and automation scenarios.

*Hybrid Hub is not available for the DIY market (requires an approved Ajax installer).

About Ajax Hubs

  • Hub & Hub Plus
These are first-generation control panels that do not support Wings technology, which means they are incompatible with MotionCam detectors. They rely on older communication standards and are more limited in features compared to newer models.

  • Hub 2 Series (Second-Generation)
Designed with Wings technology for MotionCam compatibility and broader device support.

    • Hub 2 (2G) – Two 2G SIM slots (now End-of-Life).

    • Hub 2 (4G) – Two 4G (LTE) SIM slots for faster and more reliable mobile connectivity.

  • Hub 2 Plus
The most advanced model in the series. Features include:
✓ Dual 4G (LTE) SIM slots
    ✓ Ethernet
Built-in Wi-Fi for flexible internet connection
✓ Supports all Ajax devices and ReX range extenders.

  • Hub (4G)
A new entry-level model based on the original Hub, now with 4G (LTE) support. However, it does not include Wings technology and does not support all Ajax devices, including the MotionCam series. Ideal for simpler systems that don’t require full feature sets.

Key Features to Consider When Choosing an Ajax Hub:

  • Number of Automation Scenarios:
Scenarios allow automation of actions like:

    • Auto-arming/disarming by schedule

    • Triggering Relay, WallSwitch, or Socket based on alarms or button presses

  • Range Extender Compatibility (ReX & ReX 2):

    • Hub, Hub Plus, Hub (4G): Support only ReX (original)

    • Hub 2 & Hub 2 Plus: Support ReX and ReX 2, offering enhanced range and MotionCam relay support

  • Number of Groups (Partitions):
Allows segmentation of your system into zones like:

    • Outdoors, garage, office, upstairs, etc.
Groups can be independently armed/disarmed and assigned to specific users for better control and privacy.

SIM Cards for Ajax Hubs

Ajax Hubs support SIM cards as a failover communication method in the event of internet outages. They can also operate entirely on mobile data, making them ideal for locations where wired internet isn’t available — such as construction sites, yachts, storage facilities, campervans, warehouses, and remote properties.

We recommend Webbing and Justworx IoT SIM cards for Ajax Hubs. These SIMs are non-steering, which means they automatically connect to the strongest available Vodacom or MTN signal in the area, ensuring stable and reliable performance.

Both SIM types come with preloaded data packages — valid for periods ranging from 2 to 30 years, depending on the selected option.
