Zartek ZA-PLA – Once-Off ZartekPTT Platform Activation per Radio

The Zartek ZA-PLA is a service activation that connects one compatible Zartek PoC radio to the ZartekPTT communication platform. It is not a radio, SIM card or mobile-data service.

The platform relationship differs by radio model. The ZA-PT2 uses ZartekPTT for PoC/PTT communication and requires platform activation. The ZA-PT3 and ZA-PT3-NFC support a choice of platforms, so ZA-PLA is purchased only when ZartekPTT is selected.

Choose the Right Option

• ZA-PLA: Choose this for once-off ZartekPTT platform activation for one compatible radio.
• ZA-DIS: Separate once-off Zartek PTT / PoC dispatcher software fee when dispatcher functionality is required.
• SR-PA / SR-SPA: Annual REALPTT platform services. These are different services and should not be confused with the once-off ZA-PLA ZartekPTT activation.

• Use ZA-PLA when activating a Zartek ZA-PT2 on the ZartekPTT platform.
• The ZA-PT3 and ZA-PT3-NFC support platform options, with ZartekPTT available as a supported platform choice.
• If your system is being configured specifically on the annual REALPTT service instead, use the applicable REALPTT service rather than ZA-PLA.

How It Works

A compatible PoC radio connects to an internet server platform using cellular data or Wi-Fi. ZartekPTT activation is linked to the individual radio’s IMEI number.

The activation process also uses the preferred radio name and group information so the radios can be configured into the required communication groups.
