Description
DNAKE DC300 – A Wireless Door Camera Built for Gates, Entrances and Longer-Range Installations
The DNAKE DC300 is the outdoor calling station at the heart of the DK360 wireless video intercom system. It combines a 2MP 1080p camera, 110° viewing angle, two-way visitor communication and access-control connections in a compact IP65-rated unit designed for outdoor entrance points.
This PI-1802 version is supplied with the rain shield, making it particularly well suited to exposed pedestrian gates, driveway entrances and front doors. Its real advantage, though, is installation flexibility: the DC300 can be powered from DC, a compatible rechargeable battery or the optional SA002 solar panel, so you are not locked into one power arrangement.
Important: The DC300 is not a standalone video doorbell. It requires a compatible DNAKE indoor monitor as part of a DK360-series system. If you need the complete current system, choose the DNAKE DK360W Wireless Video Doorbell Kit, which includes the DC300 and DM60W monitor.
See More of the Person at the Gate
The 2MP camera captures 1920 × 1080 video and provides a 110° horizontal viewing angle. That wider view is useful at gates and entrances where a visitor may not stand directly in front of the camera.
- 2MP Full HD video: Provides clear visitor identification at the entrance.
- 110° horizontal view: Covers a useful width around the doorway or gate position.
- White-light assistance: Provides additional illumination when needed.
- Single call button: Gives visitors a clear point of interaction.
- Name plate: Helps identify the property, office or intended recipient.
Three Ways to Power a Remote Entrance
One of the DC300’s strongest practical advantages is its flexible power design. This is especially useful where the gate is some distance from the building or where installing new power cabling would be inconvenient.
| Power option | Best suited to |
|---|---|
| 9–24 V DC | Permanent installations where suitable wired power is already available |
| 3.7 V / 4200 mAh rechargeable lithium battery | Installations where running a dedicated power cable is undesirable |
| Optional DNAKE SA002 solar panel | Outdoor locations where suitable sunlight can help maintain the rechargeable power system |
The SA002 solar panel is sold separately and connects to the DC300’s dedicated solar-power input.
Wireless Communication Without a Long Data Cable
Within a compatible DK360 or DK360W system, the DC300 communicates with the indoor monitor using Wi-Fi HaLow. This long-range wireless link is designed for properties where the entrance and building are separated by a driveway, garden or other open space.
The complete system supports transmission of up to approximately 500 m in an open area. Buildings, walls, terrain and other obstructions will reduce the achievable distance, so the final monitor position should be chosen with the wireless path in mind.
Gate and Lock Control Built In
The DC300 is more than a camera and call button. A built-in relay output allows the compatible intercom system to trigger suitable gate or electric-lock equipment, while a separate exit-button input can be incorporated into the access-control installation.
- 1 × relay output: For compatible gate or lock-release control.
- 1 × exit-button input: Allows a local exit device to form part of the installation.
- Maximum relay load: 2 A.
- Tamper alarm: Helps alert the system if the outdoor station is interfered with or removed.
Made for Outdoor Entrance Points
The DC300 carries an IP65 rating and is designed for surface mounting outdoors. The included rain shield adds further protection around the front of the unit and is particularly useful where the entrance is more exposed to direct rain.
Its slim 174 × 60 × 33 mm body makes it suitable for narrow gate posts, pedestrian entrances and door frames where a larger intercom station would be cumbersome.
Compatibility and System Expansion
The DC300 is not a standalone app-based video doorbell. The DNAKE DM60 indoor monitor is required for normal video intercom operation.
Once paired with the compatible DNAKE monitor, visitor calls can be handled through the indoor monitor, including live video, two-way communication and supported gate or lock release. Mobile app functionality is provided through the compatible monitor and system setup rather than by connecting the DC300 directly to a phone.
The DK360W platform can support up to 2 DC300 door stations and 2 indoor monitors in total, so an additional DC300 can be used for a second gate, pedestrian entrance or doorway.
