Commax (PI-1180) – a compact wired video intercom for clearer visitor screening | CDV-43K / DRC-4CGN2

The Commax CDV-43K / DRC-4CGN2 kit gives you a straightforward way to see and speak to visitors before opening the entrance. It pairs a white 4.3-inch colour monitor with the silver DRC-4CGN2 pinhole door station for a neat, conventional wired installation.

The system also supports door-release control and can be expanded when a second indoor monitor or additional audio interphones are needed.

See and speak to visitors before granting access

The CDV-43K uses a 4.3-inch colour TFT LCD and touch-button controls for visitor monitoring, conversation and door-release operation. The handset design provides familiar, private audio communication rather than relying on an open hands-free speaker.

At the entrance, the DRC-4CGN2 uses a compact pinhole colour camera with an illumination sensor and built-in white LED to assist viewing when ambient light is low.

What you’ll need for installation

• The CDV-43K monitor connects to the DRC-4CGN2 using a polarised 4-wire connection.
• The indoor monitor is powered from 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
• The door station receives 12 V power from the indoor monitor.
• A compatible electric lock and any lock-specific power or control equipment are sold separately.
• Installation cable is not listed as part of the supplied kit.
