The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF3TP-DLS is designed for areas where a conventional camera cannot comfortably cover the full scene. Two 2.8mm lenses capture adjacent views and Hikvision’s built-in stitching algorithm combines them into one 180° panoramic image.

This makes it particularly useful across wide entrances, building fronts, parking areas, yards and other open spaces. ColorVu low-light imaging, Smart Hybrid Light, true WDR and a built-in microphone add strong day-and-night performance without requiring multiple separate camera views.

How It Works

The camera uses two fixed 2.8mm lenses to capture adjacent parts of the scene. A built-in stitching algorithm combines these feeds into one continuous 180° horizontal panoramic image, allowing a single camera position to monitor a much wider area than a conventional fixed-lens camera.

• South African supplier documentation recommends compatible Hikvision /XT DVR models for this camera’s panoramic output; confirm DVR compatibility before ordering for an existing system.
• The current specification uses 12V DC ±25% power with maximum consumption of 8.9W. A 15V DC adapter is required where the specified high-impedance cabling condition applies.
• Audio is provided by the built-in microphone over the coaxial connection, so the connected DVR must support the required audio functionality.
• No onboard MicroSD storage interface is specified for this model; recording should be provided by the compatible DVR.
