Hikvision DS-2CE18D0T-LFS 2MP Smart Hybrid Light Bullet Camera – Choose 2.8mm or 6mm

The Hikvision DS-2CE18D0T-LFS is a Full HD analogue bullet camera designed for longer-range outdoor monitoring, with Smart Hybrid Light, built-in audio and a choice of two very different viewing angles. It is particularly useful where you need either broad coverage of an entrance or yard, or a tighter view along a driveway, boundary or perimeter.

Both versions use the same 2MP camera platform and provide up to 60m infrared and white-light illumination. Your main decision is therefore the lens: 2.8mm gives a much wider scene, while 6mm concentrates the available image detail into a narrower area further ahead.

Choose the Right Option

Choose 2.8mm when you want to see a broad area close to the camera, such as a driveway entrance, yard, parking area or the front of a building.

Choose 6mm when the important area is further away and you want a significantly narrower view. It is better suited to focusing down a driveway, along a boundary or towards a particular entrance rather than trying to capture everything around the camera.

Before You Buy

• This is an HD analogue camera and requires a compatible DVR. It does not connect directly to an NVR, network switch or PoE network.
• Select the lens before ordering. The 2.8mm and 6mm versions are separate fixed-lens cameras and the focal length is not adjustable after installation.
• The 2.8mm lens provides a 101° horizontal field of view, while the 6mm lens provides 49.2°. The difference is substantial, so choose according to the area you need to monitor.
• The camera supports 1080p at 25fps or 30fps over TVI, AHD and CVI. CVBS output supports PAL or NTSC.
• Audio is carried over coaxial cable from the built-in microphone, so the connected recorder must support the required audio functionality.
• The camera requires 12V DC ±25% power and consumes up to 9.8W. Hikvision recommends using one power adapter per camera.
• Hikvision does not recommend this particular camera for installation in narrow spaces.
