Set up the camera network, either wired or wirelessly. You can connect the camera to either 2.4 or 5 GHz2 band to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.

H.265 video technology

H.265 creates a smoother viewing experience while only using about 50% of the data storage space required by cameras with H.264.⁵

2  You will need to choose the Wi-Fi frequency band during the device setup process. Once the choice is made, you will not be able to change it to another frequency band.
