The TP-Link DS-P7001-16 is a 16-port DeltaStream GPON Optical Line Terminal designed for service-provider, estate, campus and other managed fibre access deployments. Its high port density allows a single 1U-class rack unit to serve a large number of optical network terminals while providing multiple high-speed uplinks.

Centralised management and redundant power options make it particularly suited to networks where administrators need scalable subscriber provisioning, monitoring and service control from a dedicated OLT platform.

Before You Buy

• This is a GPON Optical Line Terminal for managed fibre access networks and requires appropriate GPON ONTs/ONUs, optical distribution components and network planning.
• The 16 PON interfaces are SFP slots. The manufacturer’s confirmed package contents do not list GPON optical SFP modules, so confirm and order the appropriate compatible modules separately where required.
• AC input is 100-240V, 50/60Hz. The platform also supports -38.4V to -72V DC power configurations.
• Management is available through DeltaStream PON Management System, SNMP, CLI and Web UI.
• TP-Link’s current South African product page specifies a maximum GPON transmission distance of 60km; actual optical-network design remains dependent on the selected optical modules, fibre plant, splitters and link budget.
