Before You Buy

PoE is available on ports 1 to 4 and is intended for powered devices compliant with IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at. The combined PoE load must remain within the switch’s 65 W budget, with a maximum of 30 W on an individual PoE port.

Standard Gigabit Ethernet cabling distances and the longer-distance Extend Mode are not the same operating condition. Mercusys specifies Extend Mode operation up to 250 m, but actual distance depends on cable quality, cable type and the power requirements of the connected device.

The supplied external power adapter is required to operate the switch and provide PoE power.
