Mercusys MS120GP 20-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch for CCTV and Business Networks
The Mercusys MS120GP combines 16 Gigabit PoE+ ports with dedicated Gigabit RJ45 and SFP uplink connectivity in a rackmount metal chassis. It is well suited to surveillance networks, offices and other installations where multiple compatible devices need both network data and PoE power.
With a total PoE budget of 192 W and up to 30 W available per PoE+ port, the MS120GP can power compatible IEEE 802.3af/at devices without separate power adaptors at each endpoint.
Is This Right for You?
Choose the MS120GP when you need a larger PoE network with Gigabit connectivity across the main switch ports. Typical applications include IP cameras, wireless access points, IP phones and other IEEE 802.3af/at powered devices.
It is particularly useful where rack installation, SFP uplinks or longer PoE cable runs are required. For installations using Extend Mode, remember that the affected ports are reduced to 10 Mbps.

Before You Buy
PoE is available on RJ45 ports 1–16 and is intended for IEEE 802.3af/at compatible powered devices.
Maximum PoE output is up to 30 W per PoE port, subject to the switch’s 192 W total PoE budget.
Extend Mode can increase transmission distance to as much as 250 m, but ports operating in this mode are reduced to 10 Mbps. Actual distance varies with cable quality, cable type and the power requirements of connected devices.
The two SFP slots require suitable Gigabit SFP transceivers when fibre connectivity is required; SFP modules are not listed among the supplied package contents.
The switch is designed for plug-and-play operation and does not require central management or configuration for normal use.
Two internal fans are fitted, with manufacturer-specified operating noise of up to 47.2 dBA at 50 cm under stated test conditions.
