Duke Plus Irritant Projectiles contain 5% Nonivamide, also known as PAVA (pelargonic acid vanillylamide) a predictable laboratory alternative to natural OC (Oleoresin Capsicum). It has a significant effect on the skin and eyes, slightly less on the sinuses, with a slightly lower saturation than OC. In its pure form, it rates at 9,200,000SHU on the Scoville heat scale.
