Commax 7-inch hands-free video entry control with a clear view of your visitor | CDV-70H / DRC-4LN

The Commax CDV-70H / DRC-4LN kit gives you a straightforward way to see and speak to visitors before allowing access. Its large indoor monitor combines a 7-inch colour screen with hands-free conversation and touch-button controls, while the DRC-4LN door station handles visitor calls and video at the entrance.

It is well suited to homes, offices and smaller commercial entrances where a dependable wired intercom is preferred over an app- or network-dependent system.

See, speak and release the door from one monitor

The CDV-70H keeps the everyday controls together at the indoor monitor. Incoming visitors can be viewed on the colour display, spoken to hands-free and, when a compatible electric lock is installed, given access using the door-release control.

A door camera designed for clear visitor identification

The DRC-4LN is a surface-mounted colour door camera with a CMOS video sensor, built-in illumination for low-light operation and a 68° horizontal by 50° vertical viewing angle. An upward angle adjustment of 13° helps position the view during installation.

Room to expand the intercom system

The CDV-70H can form part of a larger wired installation rather than limiting you to a single indoor viewing point. The system supports up to 2 monitors, 1 door camera and 2 interphones, making it useful where another indoor station is required.

Check your installation first

The CDV-70H is powered from 100–240 V AC and connects to the DRC-4LN using a 4-wire polarised connection. The door camera receives 12 V DC from the monitor. A cable run of up to 50 m is specified when using 0.65 mm conductor diameter.

An electric lock, installation cable, additional monitor and interphones are separate system components where required.
