Description
Zartek GE-259 Lapel Speaker Microphone for Compatible Two-Way Radios
The Zartek GE-259 provides an external speaker and microphone for selected Zartek handheld radios. Its lapel format is particularly useful for security, vehicle and work applications where keeping the radio itself secured is more practical.
Zartek documents the GE-259 for use with PTT or VOX operation on compatible radio models, giving users a practical alternative to speaking directly into the handheld radio.
Why Choose This Product?
- Speaker and microphone in one accessory: Moves radio audio and voice pickup to a convenient lapel position while the radio remains secured.
- PTT or VOX operation: Zartek lists the GE-259 among headset accessories that can be used with push-to-talk or supported VOX operation.
- Purpose-built for working environments: Zartek specifically identifies the GE-259 for vehicle and security use.
- Verified radio compatibility: The current Zartek catalogue lists compatibility with six Zartek radio models.
Before You Buy
The current Zartek August 2026 catalogue lists the GE-259 for the ZA-725, ZA-721, ZA-723, ZA-720, ZA-758 and TX-8. Do not assume compatibility with another Zartek radio solely because its accessory socket looks similar.
This is an optional radio accessory. A compatible two-way radio is required and is sold separately.
