The Hikvision DS-2CE12KF3TP-DLS combines two fixed lenses with in-camera image stitching to produce one 180° panoramic view. This makes it particularly useful where a conventional camera would leave large areas outside the frame, such as along a driveway, shopfront, parking area, yard or building perimeter.

Its 3328 × 1504 image, ColorVu low-light technology, Smart Hybrid Light and built-in microphone provide wide visual coverage together with recorded audio, while the IP67 housing allows the camera to be installed in exposed outdoor locations.

How It Works

Two 2.8mm fixed lenses capture adjacent areas of the scene. Hikvision’s built-in stitching algorithm combines them into a single panoramic image with a 180° horizontal field of view, allowing one DVR channel to display the complete wide scene rather than separate images from two cameras.

Before You Buy

• This is an HD analogue camera with one HD analogue video output. It is not an IP camera and does not connect directly to an NVR or network switch.
• Use a compatible DVR capable of supporting the camera’s 3328 × 1504 panoramic output and required audio-over-coax functionality.
• The camera requires 12V DC ±25% power and consumes up to 8.9W. Hikvision recommends one power adapter per camera.
• Hikvision states that a 15V DC adapter is required when using a high-impedance cable such as the 18m extension cable referenced in its documentation.
• The lens is fixed at 2.8mm and provides a 180° horizontal and 75° vertical field of view; there is no optical zoom or adjustable focal length.
• Hikvision does not specify onboard MicroSD storage for this model. Recording should therefore be provided by the compatible DVR and its installed storage.
• Power supply, DVR, coaxial cabling and recording hard drive are not listed by Hikvision as included with the standalone camera and should be selected separately as required.
