The EZVIZ CB8 Pro combines high-detail 8MP video, motorised pan and tilt, a large rechargeable battery and smart detection in a weather-resistant outdoor camera. It is well suited to driveways, entrances, yards and other areas where permanent mains power is difficult to provide.

Always-On Video Mode 2.0 extends battery-camera monitoring beyond event-only clips by creating time-lapse-style coverage between detected activities, while recorded events switch to normal-speed video for more useful detail.

How It Works

AOV 2.0 captures images at configured intervals to create time-lapse-style all-day coverage when there is no activity. When movement is detected, the camera switches to normal-speed recording so important activity is captured in greater detail.

The motorised camera head provides 340° pan and 75° tilt control through the EZVIZ app. AI detection distinguishes human and vehicle shapes, while automatic smart tracking can follow a detected person as they move through the monitored area.

• The camera connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and has a minimum recommended network requirement of 8 Mbps.
• No separate hub is required for normal EZVIZ app operation.
• The camera has a built-in 10,400 mAh rechargeable battery. Compatible EZVIZ Type-C solar panels can be added for ongoing solar charging and are sold separately.
• A Type-C cable is included, but the required 5 V / 2 A power adapter is not included.
• Local recording supports a MicroSD card up to 512 GB. The card is sold separately. EZVIZ CloudPlay is an optional subscription service where available.
• Automatic smart tracking applies to detected people; vehicle shape detection is supported for alerts.
• AOV recording uses more battery power than standard event-triggered operation. Actual battery life depends on activity levels, recording settings, Wi-Fi conditions, temperature and solar charging conditions.
