The TP-Link RE235BE is designed to improve Wi-Fi coverage in areas where your existing router’s signal becomes weak. Its dual-band Wi-Fi 7 connection provides theoretical wireless rates of up to 2882Mbps on 5GHz and 688Mbps on 2.4GHz, while a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port adds useful flexibility for wired equipment.

It can operate as a conventional wireless range extender or as an access point connected back to your router by Ethernet. When paired with compatible EasyMesh equipment, it can also form part of a more seamless whole-home Wi-Fi network.
