Zartek ZA-654 CDP-801 Four-Button Wireless Gate Intercom for Multi-User Entrances

The Zartek ZA-654 is a four-button digital wireless gate station designed for properties where several homes, offices or users share one entrance. Each call button can be paired with its own ZA-651 handset group, allowing visitors to call the correct resident or office without installing intercom cabling between the gate and building.

A relay board is included for gate or compatible electric-strike triggering from a paired handset. The system is suited to small complexes, residential properties and small office buildings, with a manufacturer-stated typical range of 50–70 m in built-up areas.

Is This Right for You?

The ZA-654 is particularly useful where one entrance needs up to four separate call buttons. Each button can be linked to a different group of ZA-651 handsets, while multiple handsets can be assigned to the same button when more than one indoor answering point is required.

Handsets assigned to different call buttons do not have intercom communication with one another. This makes the system better suited to separate residents or offices than to a single large internal intercom group.

This product is the gate station only. ZA-651 indoor handset kits must be purchased separately.

How It Works

When a visitor presses one of the four call buttons, the ZA-651 handset or handsets paired with that button ring. The visitor can speak without holding a talk button, while the resident uses the handset’s push-to-talk function to reply.

The resident can also operate the gate-release function from the handset. The included relay board provides the switching connection required for a compatible motorised gate or electric door strike.

Before You Buy

• Backup batteries: 4 × AA batteries are not included and are intended for backup rather than permanent primary operation.
• Range depends on the site: Zartek states a typical 50–70 m range in built-up areas, with greater range possible in open terrain. Walls, trees, metalwork, concrete and electrical equipment can reduce performance.
• Plan the mounting position carefully: Zartek recommends wall or standard gooseneck mounting and advises against enclosing the unit inside a rain shield that can obstruct the radio signal unless an external antenna is used.
• Manual pairing: ZA-651 handsets are manually programmed to the appropriate call button.
