The TP-Link HX521 combines dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet and EasyMesh compatibility in a compact unit for upgrading home or small-office wireless coverage. It can operate as the main router or as an access point connected to an existing wired network.

This 1-pack is also suitable for starting or expanding a compatible EasyMesh network. Wireless and Ethernet backhaul are supported when multiple compatible units are used.

Before You Buy

The HX521 does not create a multi-node mesh network by itself. Mesh operation requires two or more compatible devices.
Your internet service and modem or fibre ONT remain separate unless your service is delivered directly over Ethernet in a configuration supported by the router.
Wi-Fi 6, 160 MHz operation, WPA3 and other advanced wireless features require compatible client devices, and some wireless features may vary by region.
The unit requires its supplied 12 V DC power adapter.
Actual wireless speed and coverage depend on client capability, building construction, interference, network traffic and placement.
