Umarex T4E TP50 Gen2 2.4066 – Compact .50 Cal CO₂ Performance with 13 J Energy

The T4E TP50 Gen2 builds on the proven Tactical Pistol 50 platform with improved handling, clearer sights and a redesigned Quick-Piercing CO₂ system. Manufacturer item 2.4066 is the higher-energy .50 calibre version, combining a compact 213 mm overall length with a six-round internal tube magazine.

It is designed for civil training, MagFed paintball and other applications where a robust CO₂-powered .50 calibre marker is required, while the Gen2 changes make it easier to handle and keep ready for use.

What the Gen2 Upgrade Adds

• Improved grip texture: Gives the pistol a more secure and controlled feel in the hand.
• High-contrast fibre-optic sights: Improve sight visibility for quicker target acquisition.
• Tool-free Quick-Piercing system: Allows the CO₂ capsule to remain unpierced until the marker is readied.
• Pressure indicator: Provides a visible and tactile indication of the marker’s pressure status.
• Picatinny rail: Provides a standard accessory mounting point beneath the barrel.

CO₂ Readiness Without Keeping the Capsule Pressurised

The TP50 Gen2 uses a single 12 g CO₂ capsule housed in the grip. Its Quick-Piercing system is designed so the capsule can remain installed without being pierced until the marker is prepared for use. An integrated pressure indicator helps show whether the system is pressurised, while the Gen2 design also incorporates a tool-free pressure-release function.

• The TP50 Gen2 2.4066 operates with 1 × 12 g CO₂ capsule.
• The internal magazine holds 6 × .50 calibre T4E roundballs.
• For paintball applications, Markingballs or Chalkballs are preferred; conventional gelatine paintballs have a greater likelihood of bursting during feeding or in the barrel.
• The automatic trigger safety is an operating safety feature and does not replace correct handling and storage practices.
