The EZVIZ EB8 Pro Ranger combines an 8MP motorised outdoor camera, a large 10,400 mAh rechargeable battery and an included 8 W solar panel. It is designed for places such as farms, fence lines, livestock areas, remote properties, campsites and wildlife-monitoring locations where conventional wired power or fixed internet may be inconvenient.

Dual 4G LTE and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6 connectivity gives you more flexibility when choosing where to install the camera, while AOV 2.0 provides a more complete picture of what happened between motion events than a conventional event-only battery camera.

How It Works

The EB8 Pro Ranger can connect through Wi-Fi or 4G LTE and is designed to switch between the two connection methods when required. For 4G operation, install a compatible Nano SIM with an active mobile-data service.

With AOV 2.0 enabled, the camera captures images at selected intervals during quiet periods and converts them into time-lapse-style footage. When relevant movement is detected, it switches to normal video recording so the event is captured in greater detail.

• The camera supports a microSD card up to 512 GB. The card is sold separately.
• EZVIZ CloudPlay storage is supported where available and requires a subscription.
• Wild-animal detection requires an additional EZVIZ App subscription and is available only in supported countries.
• Automatic smart tracking applies to detected humans rather than every supported detection type.
• The included 8 W solar panel assists with charging, but actual charging performance depends on available sunlight, installation position and camera usage.
• A 5 V DC / 2 A power adapter is not included and is required if you want to charge the camera from a compatible mains power source.
• GPS works best when the camera is installed outdoors with an open view of the sky.
