The Hikvision iDS-7108HQHI-M1/S combines an 8-channel Turbo HD recorder with AcuSense deep-learning functions that help separate human and vehicle activity from less useful motion events. It is well suited to analogue CCTV installations that need smarter event searching without replacing compatible coaxial cameras and cabling.

Alongside HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI and CVBS inputs, the DVR supports compatible IP cameras up to 6MP and provides H.265 Pro+ compression to make efficient use of available storage.

• The DVR has 8 physical analogue BNC inputs. Standard IP support is 2 channels, with up to 10 IP channels possible; Enhanced IP mode provides 4 IP channels expandable up to 12 channels.
• Enhanced IP mode can conflict with certain smart functions, including Motion Detection 2.0 and perimeter protection, so choose between maximum IP expansion and required AcuSense functions accordingly.
• Supported IP camera resolution is up to 6MP.
• One internal SATA interface supports a hard drive up to 10TB. A surveillance hard drive is required for local recording.
• An Ethernet connection is required for Hik-Connect and other network functions. Wi-Fi connectivity is possible through a compatible USB Wi-Fi dongle rather than built-in Wi-Fi.
• The recorder requires a 12V DC, 1.33A power supply.
