Zartek ZA-PT2 Build-It Bundle – Build Your ZartekPTT PoC Radio System

The Zartek ZA-PT2 Build-It Bundle lets you configure a practical PTT over Cellular system around the compact ZA-PT2 radio. Start with the radio and its required ZartekPTT platform activation, then add mobile-data connectivity, a spare battery, headset or dispatcher functionality to suit the way your team works.

Unlike a conventional short-range two-way radio, the ZA-PT2 communicates through the internet using 4G/LTE mobile data or Wi-Fi. This makes it particularly useful for security, transport, logistics, construction and other mobile teams working across different sites or locations.

This bundle is intended for teams that need push-to-talk communication across a wider operating area than conventional direct radio-to-radio communication normally provides. Team members can operate at separate sites as long as each radio has suitable mobile-data or Wi-Fi connectivity.

The ZA-PT2 is well suited to security teams, logistics operations, transport fleets, construction sites and other organisations that want simple push-to-talk operation with GPS positioning and optional central dispatcher functionality.

How It Works

The ZA-PT2 connects to the ZartekPTT server platform through mobile data or Wi-Fi. Each radio requires its own ZA-PLA activation before it can communicate through ZartekPTT. The ZA-PLA fee is once-off for the lifetime of the activated radio.

Once configured, radios can communicate within selected groups or individually. If you add more ZA-PT2 radios to your system, each additional radio requires its own ZA-PLA activation.

A SIM card is not required when the radio will operate entirely through suitable Wi-Fi. For mobile operation away from Wi-Fi, an active data SIM with suitable cellular coverage is required.

Webbing IoT SIM Option

The optional Webbing IoT SIM provides cellular data for a ZA-PT2 operating away from Wi-Fi. It is a data-only IoT SIM rather than a conventional cellphone voice SIM, because ZA-PT2 communication is carried as internet data through the ZartekPTT platform.

• SIM activation is required before use

GE-222 Spare Battery Option

The Zartek GE-222 is the dedicated spare or replacement battery for the ZA-PT2. It has a 4000 mAh Li-ion capacity and includes a direct USB-C charging socket, allowing a spare battery to be charged separately from the radio.

This is useful for longer shifts or applications where a fully charged spare battery needs to be kept ready.

GE-223 Headset Option

The Zartek GE-223 is the dedicated single-pin H328 headset listed for the ZA-PT2. It provides an earpiece and in-line push-to-talk control for more discreet or hands-friendly communication.

ZA-DIS Dispatcher Option

ZA-DIS adds the ZartekPTT dispatcher function for organisations that require a central control-room interface in addition to normal radio-to-radio communication.

Supported dispatcher functions include communication with radios or groups, GPS map positions, historical location tracking and audio recordings. The ZA-PT2 SOS function requires an online dispatcher to receive and monitor the alert.

ZA-DIS is separate from ZA-PLA and is not required for normal group or individual communication between activated radios.

Before You Buy

• Each ZA-PT2 requires one ZA-PLA activation before it can communicate through ZartekPTT.
• If purchasing multiple radios, select one ZA-PLA activation for each radio.
• The radio requires an active internet connection through mobile data or Wi-Fi while communicating.
• Cellular coverage depends on available mobile networks and cannot be guaranteed in every location.
• The optional Webbing IoT SIM is data-only and must be activated and correctly configured before cellular use.
• ZA-DIS is not required for normal radio-to-radio PTT communication, but an online dispatcher is required to receive and monitor SOS alerts.
• Optional Build-It components are supplied only when selected.
