The Zartek TX-8 is a slim, lightweight handheld radio designed for straightforward short- to long-range group communication without cellular airtime costs. Its factory-programmed licence-free channels make it suitable for everyday business, hospitality, events, warehouses and outdoor use.

The single-pack version includes one TX-8 radio, rechargeable battery, desktop charging stand, USB charging cable, mains adaptor and belt clip case, making it a complete option for adding an individual radio to a compatible fleet.

The twin-pack version includes two TX-8 radios, two rechargeable batteries, two desktop charging stands, two USB charging cables, dual-port mains adaptor and two belt clip cases.

Before You Buy

The TX-8 is factory programmed for licence-free operation at 500 mW on Zartek’s designated 446 MHz and 464 MHz channels. Zartek also specifies programmable operation from 400–470 MHz at up to 3 W, but this higher-power licensed operation requires the appropriate radio licence and correct programming.

Radio range depends heavily on buildings, terrain, vegetation, elevation and other obstructions. Zartek estimates approximately 600 m–1.2 km indoors, 2–6 km outdoors and 10–30 km with elevated line of sight. These figures are terrain-dependent and should not be treated as guaranteed coverage distances.

The TX-8 can interoperate with selected Zartek radios when both frequency and tone settings match. Accessory compatibility is separate from radio-to-radio interoperability.
