The TP-Link NE211-Outdoor places its cellular connection outdoors, where positioning can provide a more suitable 5G or LTE signal than an indoor router. It combines integrated directional cellular antennas, an IP67 enclosure and a 2.5GbE PoE/LAN connection in a single outdoor unit.

It is suited to properties that need a fixed 5G broadband connection with Ethernet delivered indoors over one cable. Router and bridge modes allow it to operate as the network gateway or hand the connection to downstream networking equipment.

How It Works

Insert a compatible Nano SIM and mount the gateway on a wall or pole in a suitable outdoor location. A single Ethernet cable connects the outdoor unit to its PoE power source while carrying network data back indoors. The Aginet app can assist with setup and finding a suitable installation position.

• It supports 802.3at PoE+ as well as 48V passive PoE; a passive PoE adapter is included.
• For indoor Wi-Fi coverage, connect suitable downstream Wi-Fi networking equipment via Ethernet.
• Wall and pole installation are supported. Correct outdoor mounting, cabling, waterproofing and grounding should be completed during installation.
