The TP-Link HX220 combines dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with EasyMesh technology, allowing you to start with one unit or use multiple units to create a unified wireless network across a larger home or office.

Each HX220 can operate as a router or access point and includes three Gigabit Ethernet ports, making it suitable for fibre connections, wired devices and optional Ethernet backhaul.

How It Works

Multiple HX220 units can form one EasyMesh network using a common Wi-Fi name. Compatible client devices can move between mesh points while the system helps steer them towards a suitable connection. Units may communicate wirelessly or use Ethernet backhaul when cabling is available.

• The HX220 is a dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 system and does not provide a built-in 4G or 5G internet connection.
• When used as your main router, connect the WAN/LAN port to a suitable Ethernet broadband source such as a fibre ONT.
• Some mesh and seamless-roaming benefits require two or more compatible units and compatible client devices.
• Actual wireless speed, coverage and connected-device capacity depend on the building, interference, network traffic and client hardware.
• Each unit requires a 12 V DC, 1 A power supply.
