The TP-Link ER8411 combines 10-gigabit fibre connectivity, flexible multi-WAN routing and high-capacity VPN performance in a rack-mount Omada gateway. It is designed for larger offices, schools, hospitality sites and other networks where a standard Gigabit gateway can become a bottleneck.

Its mix of 10GE SFP+, Gigabit SFP and Gigabit RJ45 ports makes it useful when you need multiple internet connections, fibre uplinks or a faster route between the WAN and a 10G-capable core network.

Before You Buy

• At least one configurable WAN/LAN port must remain configured as a LAN port, so all configurable ports cannot simultaneously be used as WAN connections.
• Centralised Omada management and cloud access require an OC200, OC300, Omada Software Controller or Omada Cloud-Based Controller.
• Zero-Touch Provisioning requires the Omada Cloud-Based Controller.
• A compatible 4G/3G USB modem is required if you want mobile broadband WAN backup.
• SFP and SFP+ transceiver modules required for fibre connections are not listed in the supplied package contents and should be selected separately for the intended fibre link.
• TP-Link recommends using only one TL-SM5310-T module with the ER8411.
