The TP-Link EC120-F5 provides simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, allowing everyday browsing and connected devices to use the longer-reaching 2.4GHz band while compatible devices can use the faster 5GHz connection.

It is designed to connect to an existing fibre ONT, cable modem or DSL modem/terminal via Ethernet rather than replacing a fibre or DSL modem itself.
