BenQ LU935ST 5,500 ANSI Lumens Short-Throw WUXGA Laser Projector

R86,970.00 Incl. VAT

The BenQ LU935ST is a high-brightness WUXGA short-throw laser projector designed for golf simulators, immersive displays and professional installations where flexible placement and strong ambient-light performance matter.

  • 5,500 ANSI lumens: produces a bright image for large screens and spaces with some ambient light.
  • WUXGA 1920 × 1200 resolution: delivers detailed 16:10 imagery with 92% Rec.709 colour coverage.
  • Flexible short-throw installation: 0.81–0.89 throw ratio, 1.1× zoom and ±60% vertical / ±23% horizontal lens shift.
  • Low-maintenance laser design: 20,000-hour rated light source with an IP5X DustGuard Pro sealed optical engine.
  • Professional connectivity: dual HDMI 2.0a, HDBaseT, LAN, RS-232, USB and wired remote connections for fixed installations.
  • Important: the LU935ST accepts up to 4K UHD input signals but its native projected resolution is WUXGA 1920 × 1200, not 4K.

Description

BenQ LU935ST Short-Throw WUXGA Laser Projector for Simulation and Professional Installations

The BenQ LU935ST combines 5,500 ANSI lumens, WUXGA 1920 × 1200 resolution and a 0.81–0.89 short-throw lens for golf simulators, immersive displays, exhibitions and other installations where a large, bright image is needed without placing the projector far from the screen.

Its generous vertical and horizontal lens shift, 1.1× optical zoom, 2D keystone correction, Corner Fit and Digital Shrink provide considerably more positioning flexibility than a basic fixed-installation projector. A 20,000-hour laser light source and sealed IP5X optical engine are designed to reduce routine maintenance.

Is This Right for You?

The LU935ST is particularly well suited to golf simulator rooms and professional spaces where the projector needs to sit relatively close to a large screen while remaining out of the main viewing or activity area. Its combination of short throw, lens shift and geometric adjustment also makes it useful where ideal projector placement is difficult.

Choose this model when WUXGA resolution and high brightness are more important than native 4K output. It can accept signals up to 4K UHD, but the projected image is produced at its native 1920 × 1200 resolution.

Why Choose This Product?

  • Bright 5,500 ANSI lumen output: supports large projected images while providing useful brightness for simulator rooms, commercial installations and spaces with ambient light.
  • WUXGA 16:10 resolution: the native 1920 × 1200 image provides additional vertical workspace compared with 1920 × 1080 Full HD.
  • Short-throw optical system: the 0.81–0.89 throw ratio helps produce a large image from a comparatively short projector-to-screen distance.
  • Flexible image positioning: ±60% vertical and ±23% horizontal lens shift, 1.1× zoom, 2D keystone correction, Corner Fit and Digital Shrink help accommodate challenging room layouts.
  • Colour-focused projection: 92% Rec.709 coverage and dedicated picture modes including Golf and sRGB support natural-looking course, presentation and simulation imagery.
  • Responsive Fast Mode: latency can be reduced to approximately 16.67 ms for interactive simulation applications.
  • Laser reliability: the light source is rated for 20,000 hours, while the DustGuard Pro optical engine uses an IP5X sealed design to help protect internal optical components from dust.
  • Professional installation connections: HDBaseT supports video, audio and control over long cable runs, while LAN, RS-232, wired remote and projector ID functions suit managed installations.

Before You Buy

  • The LU935ST has a native resolution of 1920 × 1200 WUXGA. It supports 4K UHD input signals but does not project a native 4K image.
  • Confirm the required screen size and projector position against the 0.81–0.89 throw ratio before mounting.
  • Zoom, focus and lens shift are manually adjusted.
  • An optional BenQ CM00G3 universal ceiling mount and DGD5 3D glasses are listed for this projector and are sold separately.
  • HDBaseT installations require suitable source equipment and compatible structured cabling, which are not part of the standard projector package.
