The TP-Link EAP610-Outdoor is an Omada business access point built for extending dual-band Wi-Fi 6 coverage beyond the building. It combines AX1800 wireless performance with outdoor installation, Gigabit Ethernet and flexible PoE power options.

It is particularly useful where several access points need to operate as one centrally managed network. When used with a compatible Omada SDN controller, features including Mesh and seamless roaming help create wider, more consistent wireless coverage across a property.

How It Works

Connect the EAP610-Outdoor to your wired network through its Gigabit Ethernet port and power it using 802.3at PoE+ or the supplied passive PoE adapter. It then provides simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi coverage. Multiple compatible Omada access points can be centrally configured and monitored through the Omada platform.

Before You Buy

• The EAP610-Outdoor is an access point, not an internet router or modem. An existing network and internet gateway are required where internet access is needed.
• It has one Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port and can be powered by 802.3at PoE+ or 48V passive PoE.
• A passive PoE adapter is included, so a separate PoE switch is not essential when the supplied adapter is suitable for the installation.
• Omada Mesh, seamless roaming and certain centralised management features require a compatible Omada SDN controller.
• Wireless throughput and coverage depend on client devices, interference, obstacles, installation position and the surrounding environment.
