Ajax WallSwitch – a Wireless Power Relay with Energy Monitor (110V / 230V)

The Ajax WallSwitch is a wireless power relay designed to switch mains-powered electrical devices on and off as part of an Ajax alarm or automation system. Unlike dry-contact relays, WallSwitch supplies power to the connected device making it suitable for controlling lighting circuits, pumps, heaters and other electrical loads.

Once paired with an Ajax hub, WallSwitch can be controlled manually from the mobile app, scheduled to operate at specific times, or triggered automatically by system events and scenarios. Built-in power monitoring allows users to view real-time consumption data, helping manage energy usage more effectively.

The compact design allows WallSwitch to be installed discreetly inside an electrical enclosure, distribution board or junction box, providing seamless integration into residential and commercial environments.

Where the connected load exceeds the rated current of the Ajax WallSwitch (e.g. geysers or large heaters), a suitably rated contactor must be used with the WallSwitch controlling the contactor coil.

Ajax WallSwitch is designed for mains voltage applications and outputs live voltage to the connected device.
It must only be installed by a qualified electrician and wired in accordance with local electrical regulations.

Ajax WallSwitch must not be used for low-voltage trigger inputs or dry-contact applications.
Incorrect installation or misuse may result in damage, injury or voided warranty.

Installation inside a suitable enclosure by a competent installer is strongly recommended.
