Description

Titanium III 12V to 48V PoE Backup Power Supply & Battery Charger for 18Ah–20Ah AGM, Gel & LiFePO4 Batteries (ZTP1205-POE)

The Titanium III is a specialised backup power supply and battery charger designed for PoE switch backup applications. Based on the Titanium II / ZTP1205B platform, it is intended for use with 18Ah to 20Ah AGM, Gel and LiFePO4 batteries and combines battery charging with standby power for higher-voltage PoE-related systems.

Titanium III uses a DC-DC 12V to 48V battery backup configuration for PoE switches making it suitable where a standard 12V battery backup system must support equipment that operates in a PoE environment. The diagram on page 5 of Titanium User Guide shows the converter module fixed inside the housing feeding a 48V PoE switch from the backup unit.

As it is based on the Titanium II platform, the unit carries the same core backup and charging features, including 5A max output current, 3A max charge current, selectable 2A / 3A charging, low battery cut-off at 10.2V, AC fail relay, LED status indication and buzzer notification on mains failure. The lockable metal enclosure keeps the installation neat and protected, and the product is intended for indoor use only.

Key Features

PoE Backup Function

Titanium III is designed for 12V to 48V battery backup for PoE switches, as shown in the supplied guide. This makes it suitable for installations where PoE equipment requires standby power from a battery-backed system.

Based on the Titanium II 5A Platform

The unit is built on the ZTP1205B / Titanium II platform, which provides 105W power, 5A max output current and 3A max charge current.

AGM, Gel and LiFePO4 Compatibility

The battery selector allows the unit to be set for LiFePO4 or AGM/Gel charging, helping match the unit to the connected battery type.

Protection and Status Indication

The Titanium III includes over-voltage, over-current, short circuit, battery overcharge, battery over-discharge and reverse polarity protection, together with LED status indication, AC fail relay and a buzzer alarm.
