The EZVIZ DB2C combines a rechargeable video doorbell with an indoor Wi-Fi chime, letting you see, hear and speak to visitors through the EZVIZ App without running doorbell wiring. Its wide vertical view is useful for seeing both visitors and parcels near the entrance.

It is particularly well suited to apartments, flats and sheltered entrances. The DB2C does not carry an IP ingress-protection rating, so it is not the right choice for a mounting point directly exposed to rain and outdoor weather.

How It Works

The rechargeable doorbell communicates with the included chime, while the chime connects to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The EZVIZ App then provides live viewing, visitor alerts and two-way conversation from your compatible mobile device.

The chime also contains the MicroSD card slot, keeping local recordings indoors rather than in the removable doorbell unit.

Before You Buy

• A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is required; the DB2C supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n.
• For reliable communication, position the chime within approximately 3 m of the doorbell.
• The chime requires an AC 100–240 V wall socket.
• Use a 5 V / 2 A power adapter when recharging the doorbell. A power cable is included, but the charging adapter is not included.
• The MicroSD card slot is located in the chime and supports cards up to 256 GB. The card is sold separately.
• The doorbell has no IP ingress-protection grade and should be installed at a sheltered or indoor entrance rather than directly exposed to outdoor weather.
