When monitoring a remote entrance, farmyard or construction site, turning a security camera towards one area can mean losing sight of another. The Tiandy TC-H363N 9DA-4 addresses this with two independent 3MP cameras: a fixed panoramic camera keeps watch over the selected area while a separate motorised pan-and-tilt camera can follow activity elsewhere in the scene.

This dual-lens arrangement provides a combined 6MP system through two separate 2304 × 1296 video views, each operating at up to 20 frames per second. It is particularly useful where retaining an overview is just as important as following movement.

Two Camera Views with Intelligent Tracking

Both cameras use 1/2.9-inch CMOS sensors and fixed 4mm F1.6 lenses, providing a 79.6° horizontal field of view per lens. The panoramic camera maintains its selected viewing direction while the detail camera offers motorised movement through 345° horizontally and 90° vertically.

The movable camera supports 64 preset positions and automatic tracking, allowing it to follow detected activity without abandoning the fixed panoramic view. Human and vehicle detection help identify relevant movement, making the system useful for monitoring access routes, parking areas and other outdoor spaces.

Both lenses have fixed focal lengths. The detail camera follows activity by physically turning and tilting rather than using optical zoom.

Solar Power and 4G Connectivity for Remote Locations

The TC-H363N 9DA-4 is designed for installations where running electricity and network cables is impractical. Its solar charging system uses a 7.6W-rated solar panel and rechargeable battery, while cellular 4G connectivity allows the camera to communicate without an existing Wi-Fi network or fixed broadband connection.

Remote access is available through Tiandy’s EasyLive Plus mobile application, allowing users to view the camera remotely and use its built-in two-way audio capabilities.

A compatible 4G SIM card with an active data plan is required. The installation location must have adequate mobile network coverage, and the solar panel should be positioned where it receives sufficient direct sunlight. Battery operating time and solar charging performance depend on sunlight, recording activity, mobile network use and camera settings.

Night Monitoring with Active Visual and Audio Warnings

Tiandy’s Color Maker technology combines sensitive imaging with an F1.6 lens aperture to capture colour detail in low-light conditions. When illumination becomes insufficient, the camera can use infrared lighting for night monitoring at distances up to 30m or its built-in white LEDs to illuminate subjects up to 20m.

The camera also provides red and blue flashing warning lights and audio alarm functionality. When supported smart detection events occur, the camera can trigger warning illumination, sound, image capture or recording according to its configured alarm settings.

A built-in microphone and loudspeaker provide two-way communication, allowing the user to listen and speak through the camera rather than simply observe events.

Local Recording and Outdoor Installation

Video can be stored locally on a microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC memory card with a maximum supported capacity of 256GB. S+265 and H.265 compression help manage storage requirements, while recordings can be retained locally without relying exclusively on cloud storage.

A microSD memory card is sold separately. Remote viewing and other mobile-connected functions require an active 4G data connection.

The IP65-rated plastic housing provides protection against dust and water jets, making the camera suitable for appropriately installed outdoor surveillance. Its specified operating temperature range is -20°C to +50°C.

By combining two independent camera views, automatic tracking, mobile connectivity and solar charging, the TC-H363N 9DA-4 offers a practical approach to monitoring outdoor locations where traditional wired surveillance is difficult to install.
