The Zartek ZA-PT2 is a compact professional PoC radio that carries push-to-talk communication over cellular data or Wi-Fi rather than relying on the short-distance radio link used by conventional walkie-talkies. This makes it well suited to teams operating across different sites, towns or wider service areas where suitable network coverage is available.

It connects to the ZartekPTT server platform for group and individual communication, while built-in GPS supports location-based dispatcher functions. A 4000 mAh removable Li-ion battery, USB-C charging and a 1.77-inch colour display make it practical for everyday mobile use.

Is This Right for You?

Choose the ZA-PT2 when your team needs push-to-talk communication over a much wider area than conventional handheld UHF radios can practically cover. Typical applications include security operations, transport fleets, construction teams, mining operations and other mobile workforces.

The ZA-PT2 is not a direct replacement for a licence-free radio when you need communication without cellular or Wi-Fi infrastructure. Calls depend on an active data connection and access to the ZartekPTT platform.

Before You Buy

ZartekPTT activation is required. Each ZA-PT2 is activated against its IMEI number on the ZartekPTT platform. The current Zartek offering uses a separate once-off platform activation fee for the lifetime of that radio.

A data connection is also required. Insert a suitable data SIM card or connect the radio to Wi-Fi. The SIM card and mobile data service are not included. Actual communication coverage depends on the cellular or Wi-Fi network available at each user’s location.

Optional dispatcher functionality is available separately for communication with individual radios or groups and for supported GPS mapping, historical tracking and audio-recording functions.

The radio has one SIM slot and a fixed antenna. Do not purchase conventional two-way-radio antennas or accessories on the assumption that they will fit this model.
