The Zartek ZA-720 combines straightforward push-to-talk communication with a slim, lightweight radio body, rechargeable Li-ion battery and two convenient charging methods. It is designed for everyday communication in warehouses, hospitality, events, outdoor activities and other medium-duty applications.

At its standard factory settings, the ZA-720 operates at 500 mW on Zartek’s preset licence-free 446 MHz and 464 MHz channels. It can also be professionally programmed for operation from 400–470 MHz at up to 2 W where the appropriate radio licensing is in place.

Before You Buy

The ZA-720 is supplied pre-programmed for 500 mW licence-free operation on Zartek’s 446 MHz and 464 MHz public-frequency channel plan. Zartek also specifies 400–470 MHz operation at up to 2 W, but this mode requires appropriate licensing and programming.

Communication range depends heavily on terrain, buildings, elevation, interference and antenna position. Zartek’s manufacturer estimates are 600 m–1.2 km indoors, 2–6 km outdoors and 10–30 km with elevated line-of-sight; these figures should not be treated as guaranteed operating distances.

Other Zartek radios can communicate with the ZA-720 only when their channel frequencies and tones match. Radio-to-radio interoperability is separate from physical accessory compatibility.
