The SPOTBOT Vehicle Detection Module (SVD) enhances your SPOTBOT AI Detection System by adding reliable, real-time vehicle recognition. Designed for both residential and commercial sites, it ensures that every vehicle entering or leaving your premises is detected and logged without being confused by shadows, pedestrians or environmental motion.

This software-based upgrade operates alongside SPOTBOT’s human detection providing comprehensive situational awareness for driveways, parking areas, loading bays and entrances.

How It Works

The SVD module integrates directly within your SPOTBOT’s AI engine using deep learning models specifically trained to recognise vehicles by their size, shape and movement patterns.

When a vehicle is detected in the camera’s field of view, SPOTBOT instantly records the event, displays it on the connected HDMI monitor and sends a detailed alert through the SPOTBOT App or monitoring interface.

Unlike traditional motion-based systems, SPOTBOT’s vehicle detection uses true AI analysis ensuring accurate, verified alerts without false triggers caused by lighting changes, shadows or small moving objects.

While it does not perform number plate (LPR/ANPR) recognition, it excels at vehicle presence detection, ideal for triggering automation via the optional SPOTBOT USB Relay Module (SUR). For example, opening a gate, turning on lights or activating an entry notification when a vehicle approaches.
