Overview
The Byrna LE Launcher represents the highest performance level in Byrna’s non-lethal handheld range. Developed for those who demand professional-grade precision and control, the LE combines powerful output with refined ergonomics in a compact form.
Design & Comfort
A durable polymer frame with a honeycomb over-moulded grip offers superior handling and comfort under pressure. The redesigned trigger interface delivers a smoother, lighter pull for consistent accuracy. An ambidextrous safety switch allows easy operation from either hand.
Target Acquisition & Mounting
The upgraded white-dot sight system improves visibility and alignment, even in variable lighting. A Picatinny rail and red-dot-ready mounting pattern provide flexibility for attaching accessories such as lights or optics.
Compatibility & Accessories
The Byrna LD is designed for use only with 0.68 rounds and accessories. It is not compatible with Byrna CL 0.61 rounds.
Additional accessories including holsters, spare magazines, training rounds and carry options are sold separately.

Which Launcher is Right for You?
The Byrna LE is fully legal for civilian ownership in South Africa. Although it was previously unavailable under the former distributor, the new official importer now supplies the Byrna LE locally and the product has cleared all standard SA customs and import compliance checks. No licence or permit is required. Byrna launchers operate using inert gas cartridges and are legally classified differently from firearms in South Africa.
