Ajax has developed JetSparrow, its proprietary video transmission technology, to deliver an ultra-responsive VMS experience. With JetSparrow, navigating the local HDD archive is as smooth as browsing the cloud, making archive access fast and intuitive. Live view starts instantly, ensuring seamless video monitoring without delays.

Effortless Integration via ONVIF and RTSP

Ajax video devices are built for easy integration, supporting ONVIF and RTSP protocols without the need for complex configurations. Whether you’re upgrading an existing system or building from scratch, Ajax opens the door to seamless compatibility with third-party surveillance and video management systems (VMS). Setup is streamlined with a built-in wizard in the Ajax apps, which automatically retrieves all essential network data. Enjoy smooth streaming, flexible image settings, and the freedom to design a video system that fits your needs—your way.

Two Models:

Choose between the 8-channel NVR (for up to 8 cameras) or the 16-channel version (for up to 16 cameras). For larger surveillance systems, multiple NVRs can be added—up to 14 NVRs per account allowing you to manage up to 220 cameras across a single system. This scalability makes the Ajax NVR ideal for both residential and commercial use.

Customisable Scenarios:

Configure scenarios to automatically activate specific cameras based on Ajax detectors ensuring you capture the most important moments.

Reliable PoE Connectivity:

Ajax cameras use Power over Ethernet (PoE) to deliver high-speed, stable and reliable connections providing superior performance compared to wireless alternatives. For uninterrupted operation during power outages, an inverter or UPS (uninterruptible power supply) is recommended as the NVR does not include a built-in battery.

Advanced Motion Detection:

Customise specific zones within the camera’s field of view to trigger recordings only when movement occurs in selected areas. This feature helps to avoid unnecessary recordings of irrelevant motion, such as swaying vegetation or distant passers-by.

Video Storage and Archiving:

The NVR supports internal surveillance hard drives of up to 16TB, providing ample space for long-term video retention. Customisable video walls allow for streamlined monitoring, but please note that the hard drive is not included in the box.

Fanless Design for Silent Operation:

The fanless design ensures quiet operation making the NVR suitable for indoor environments without causing noise disturbances.

Standalone Operation:

The Ajax NVR operates independently of the Ajax Hub, meaning you don’t need additional hardware to run the system via the Ajax app.
