The Ajax Doorbell combines the convenience of a smart doorbell with high-end security and video surveillance. Designed for both residential and commercial use, it ensures you never miss a visitor while enhancing entrance security with real-time monitoring and AI-powered detection.

Connectivity and Power Requirements

The Ajax DoorBell requires a Wi-Fi connection to operate. It connects directly to your home Wi-Fi network for real-time video streaming and notifications via the Ajax Security App for Android & iOS. When integrated with an Ajax Hub, it also uses Jeweller and Wings protocols as a backup communication channel ensuring critical events and alerts are still transmitted even if your Wi-Fi is temporarily unavailable.

Power is supplied via an external power source, but the device is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery that provides up to 2 hours of backup power during outages maintaining essential functionality.
