Tiandy TC-H333D 9DB-4 – 3MP Outdoor Wi-Fi Pan/Tilt Camera

The Tiandy TC-H333D 9DB-4 brings together motorised camera movement, automatic tracking and active alarm lighting in a compact outdoor surveillance camera. Rather than watching only one fixed direction, it can turn to monitor different parts of an outdoor area, while its integrated night illumination and audio functions add useful monitoring capabilities after dark.

Its 3MP imaging system records at up to 2304 × 1296 pixels and 20 frames per second. The fixed 4mm F1.6 lens provides an 84.6° horizontal field of view, offering a practical balance between scene coverage and detail for monitoring gates, entrances, driveways and similar locations.

Motorised Coverage with Automatic Tracking

The TC-H333D offers a horizontal pan range of 345° and a vertical tilt range of 90°. This allows the camera’s viewing direction to be adjusted without physically repositioning the installed housing.

Built-in auto-tracking enables the camera to follow detected activity by adjusting its viewing direction. Smart alarm functions can also link events to sound, lighting and recording actions, giving the camera a more active monitoring role than a conventional fixed-view camera.

The camera supports up to 255 preset positions, providing additional flexibility when configuring different viewing directions.

Infrared and White-Light Night Monitoring

The TC-H333D combines two infrared LEDs with two white-light LEDs, allowing it to support different lighting conditions after sunset.

• Infrared illumination: Up to 30m for night-time monitoring in monochrome.
• White-light illumination: Up to 15m to assist colour imaging in dark conditions.
• Low-light sensitivity: Colour imaging down to 0.02 lux under the manufacturer’s specified conditions.
• Red/blue alarm flashing: Provides a visible warning function when configured with supported alarm actions.

The camera uses an automatic IR-cut filter for day/night switching, while Smart IR, digital wide dynamic range and 3D digital noise reduction help manage changing illumination and image noise. Actual night-time detail depends on scene conditions, available light and the distance to the subject.

Two-Way Audio and Flexible Recording

A built-in microphone and loudspeaker allow users to hear activity near the camera and communicate through the supported system. The audio function can be useful when checking an entrance or responding to someone near the monitored area.

For local storage, the camera accepts MicroSD, MicroSDHC and MicroSDXC memory cards up to 256GB. A suitable memory card can be installed for supported onboard recording without requiring a separate recorder for that storage function.

The camera also supports ONVIF Profiles S and T, RTSP and Tiandy’s Easy7 VMS software, providing network integration options. Compatibility with a particular NVR, its recording functions and any supported analytics should be checked against that recorder’s capabilities.

Outdoor Installation and Connectivity

The TC-H333D connects through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) or its built-in 10/100Mbps Ethernet port. Bluetooth provisioning is also supported to assist initial configuration, while the EasyLive Plus mobile application provides a remote viewing interface.

Its IP66-rated plastic housing provides protection against dust and powerful water jets, making it appropriate for suitably installed outdoor surveillance. The specified operating temperature range is -30°C to +60°C.

Power and installation: The camera requires a 12V DC power connection and consumes up to 12W. Wi-Fi removes the need for a wired network connection but does not eliminate the power cable. Install it within reliable network coverage and position it so the camera can move through the required viewing angles without obstruction.
