The Zartek GE-328 Desk Charging Stand is a replacement or additional USB-powered charging cradle designed specifically for the Zartek ZA-722 two-way radio. It keeps the radio upright while charging its fitted 1000 mAh lithium-ion battery through the charging contacts.

Zartek GE-328 Desk Charging Stand for ZA-722 Two-Way Radio

The Zartek GE-328 provides a dedicated desktop charging station for the Zartek ZA-722 two-way radio. Whether replacing a missing or damaged charging stand or adding another charging point, the GE-328 offers a convenient way to recharge your radio while keeping it upright and readily accessible.

Designed specifically for the ZA-722, the stand uses charging contacts that connect with the radio’s fitted rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Simply connect a suitable USB charging cable to the stand, supply power from a 5V DC, 1A USB source and insert the radio securely into the charging compartment.

A built-in charging indicator displays the charging status and indicates when the battery is fully charged. Under normal charging conditions, the ZA-722’s 1000 mAh battery takes approximately 3 hours to charge from flat. The radio should be switched off during charging for efficient operation.

Compatibility with Zartek ZA-722 Radios

The GE-328 is specifically compatible with the Zartek ZA-722 UHF two-way radio, including radios purchased in either the Single Pack or Dual Pack configuration.

ZA-722 Single Pack: A charging stand is included with the original radio package. The GE-328 serves as a direct replacement or additional charging stand.
ZA-722 Dual Pack: The original package includes two radios and USB charging cables but no desktop charging stands. The GE-328 provides an optional desktop charging solution for either radio.

The GE-328 is model-specific and should not be assumed to fit other Zartek two-way radios, even where those radios also support USB charging.

Power requirements: A suitable USB charging cable and standard 5V 1A USB power supply are needed to operate the stand. These are separate from the GE-328 charging cradle. The ZA-722 can alternatively be charged directly through its own USB charging port without using the desktop stand.
